Criteria for Content

*Kindly go through the content criteria before applying

Video Criteria:

  • • The video should not be owned by another party
  • • The video should be under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License Creative Commons License
  • • Resolution should be 1280 X 720 (720p) and above
  • • If the video contains voice-over or talking characters the video should be accompanied by a transcript
  • • Background music and sound effects should be your property or royalty free (from a free online audio library)
  • • No usage of inappropriate imagery
  • • The video should not be above 3 minutes for music videos and above 10 minutes for other video contents
  • • The video size should not be beyond 500 Megabytes
  • • The video should have 5 seconds intro and 5-second outro
  • • No illegal activity should be portrayed in the video

Images Criteria:

  • • Contest photographs/images must be saved in the jpg/jpeg format
  • • Photographs/images must have 150-300 dpi and 7-12 compression quality
  • • Photographs/images must have a short edge of minimum 1920 pixels and a long edge of maximum 3200 pixels
  • • Photographs/images must have a minimum of 1 Megabyte and not exceed 5 Megabyte
  • • Photographs/images should be under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License Creative Commons License
  • • No illegal activity should be portrayed in the photographs/images

Audio Criteria:

  • • The Audio should not be owned by another party
  • •The Audio should be under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License Creative Commons License
  • • If the video contains voice-over or talking characters the video should be accompanied by a transcript
  • • Background music and sound effects should be your property or royalty free (from a free online audio library)
  • • No usage of inappropriate imagery
  • • The audio should not be above 3 minutes for music and above 10 minutes for other video contents
  • • The audio size should not be beyond 20 Megabytes
  • • No illegal activity should be portrayed in the audio
